Hibiscus Healing is a small business that provides birthwork and childcare services to families in the Triangle and surrounding areas. The founder, Laquasha, better known as Quay, is a trained Full Spectrum (community-based) Doula and provides birth, postpartum, babysitting, nannying, and peer lactation services. Being Community-Based means that Quay offers sliding-scale services to families in need and partners with non-profits like Equity Before Birth to deliver services at no cost of their own to families. Hibiscus Healing also provides placenta services and will soon be able to accept Lactation families through insurance after completing her exams for CLC and IBCLC certifications. Quay offers juices, teas, and some meals as well that support pregnancy, postpartum, and general wellness.
