Duke Children’s Evaluation Center (DCEC) provides a team of trained child therapists and mental health professionals who focus on evaluating and providing short-term treatments for children and young adults who may be experiencing behavioral or mental health challenges. When warranted, DCEC will also help families connect to other mental health providers that can meet the child’s long-term needs.
Parents or caregivers who are concerned about their child’s behavioral or mental health needs (examples could include: disruptive or concerning behaviors, adjustment difficulties, attention challenges, or relationship problems) should contact Duke Children’s Evaluation Center.
