Durham Early Head Start

A program of Durham’s Partnership for Children, Durham Early Head Start (EHS) is a free and comprehensive child development and family support program for low-income expectant women and families with infants and toddlers (birth to age 3). Families are given the choice between two models: intensive home visiting (for families to use their home as the place for learning) or high-quality center-based childcare (for families who demonstrate need for childcare services).

Note, this is a separate program from the Durham Head Start and Early Head Start operated Families & Communities Rising, Inc. We recommend you explore both options to find the solution for your needs.
