La Leche League

La Leche League (LLL) of Durham offers support to all who want to breastfeed/chestfeed. Are you pregnant and have questions, or are you facing a challenge, or is nursing going smoothly and you’d like to help support others? LLL of Durham is here for you!

Meetings and cafes provide a safe place for nursing support and information in a friendly, accepting atmosphere. LLL Durham hosts three events every month. Whether you are pregnant, just starting your journey, successfully chestfeeding/breastfeeding, or supporting a lactating family, all are welcome! Children are welcome, too! Meetings and cafes are free and led by volunteer Leaders who are experienced with breastfeeding and are accredited by La Leche League International.

Who We Serve:

We support all who are pregnant; all breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and human milk feeding families; and all those who support them.
