North Carolina Family Navigation Guide

The NC Family Navigation Guide is a website and resource guide for families who have concerns about their child’s development and those who have children with special health care needs or disabilities, including autism. The Family Navigation Guide is designed to help families, and the professionals that support them, understand the process of getting a child an evaluation and what to do when a child has a diagnosis. Organized into a set of simple questions, the Guide can connect families to information and resources available across the state based on their particular concerns.

The NC Family Navigation Guide was developed by NC Navigating Care, a federally funded grant program focused on supporting families of young children with disabilities.
