I am a parent educator and advocate who helps parents figure out the next steps after a child’s diagnosis or during a transition. Whether your child has a new diagnosis or a change with their diagnosis, I can help. I can provide support in understanding the educational system, what to expect, IEPs and 504s, and preparing for those meetings. I also have extensive knowledge of the medical world: reading reports, finding resources, and prioritizing what is best for YOUR family. I will help you answer the question, “now what?” I have my MAT in Special Education, BA in Psychology and personal experience with my own children and myself. I understand both from a professional and a personal level. My services are as needed, based on what your specific family needs. Meetings typically take place virtually, but I can accommodate those wanting to meet in person.
