Let’s Talk Advocacy- A community conversation about meeting student needs

EveryChildNC, a statewide coalition of organizations, parents, teachers, and students who advocate for every child’s constitutional right to a sound, basic education joins local partners Village of Wisdom, ISLA and Book Harvest to host Let’s TALK ADVOCACY: A community conversation about meeting student needs this Saturday, December 7th, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Main Branch of the Durham County Library, 300 N. Roxboro St.

Topics for discussion with participating families include

  • Understanding IEPs
  • Finding Resources, and
  • How to Get Help.

Lunch, child care & Spanish interpretation will be provided!
